British Columbia roof replacement
Replace an asphalt, cedar or tile roof in British Columbia with the Interlock® aluminum roofing system: one visit, one fixed price in writing, and the last tear-off your house is likely to need.
What replacing a roof with us involves
One visit first. We measure the roof, look at the deck and framing where we can, go through profiles and colours with you, and give you a fixed price in writing. Anything that needs attention underneath goes into that written quote, not into a change order later.
On install, the old roof comes off and the Interlock® aluminum system goes on: panels that lock to each other on all four sides with the fasteners concealed, so there is no exposed screw head or loose edge for wind and water to work on.
Replacing asphalt, cedar or tile
Most of our work replaces asphalt shingles, cedar shakes or concrete tile. Interlock's Slate, Cedar Shingle, Shake, Mediterranean Tile and Standing Seam profiles give you the look you want at roughly 2 to 3.5 kg per square metre, a fraction of concrete tile. Every profile needs a minimum 3/12 roof slope.
We install one roofing system. We don't install asphalt shingles, so if you're comparing us with an asphalt re-roof, you're comparing a roof you'll replace again with one that shouldn't need it.
The warranty, in plain language
The manufacturer's Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty covers material and finish for as long as the original purchaser owns the home, and transfers once. Workmanship is excluded from that warranty and is covered separately by us, in writing, in your contract. Read the full terms before you sign.
Wind resistance is warranted to 193 km/h (120 mph) when installed to manufacturer specification.

It depends on the size and complexity of the roof and what is underneath. You get a realistic install window in writing at the estimate, not after the deposit.
